I started following Maria Nitti & Isabella’s Creations (her custom cake company) a year and a half ago, after she made a cake for a friend of mine. Shortly after, Nitti launched Operation Birthday Party. Operation Birthday Party is a non-profit organization that does a monthly birthday party for children at a homeless shelter in Brooklyn. Once I found out about Maria’s project & wanting to give back to the less fortunate, I knew I had to feature this extraordinary movement.
Recently, Operation Birthday Party celebrated their one year Anniversary and I was able to document the event & find out more about the movement.
